Make Checking Your SERP Statistics Easy

The SEO-Quake Toolbar is by no means new or just recently released, but for those that haven’t been in the webmaster industry long it is an essential tool to any webmaster’s box. It is a toolbar that can display such things like Google PR, indexed pages in Google, Link Domain in Yahoo!, and the pages you’ve got listed in MSN. These are just some of the simple things this amazing tool can do!

If you would like to know the keyword density to any web page, your own or someone else’s, you could calculate it yourself. Or you could simply make sure the keyword density preference is activated in the settings and click “Density” on the toolbar, and you will be taken to a new web page that analyzes each and every keyword on it spitting out facts like how many times it is repeated and what sort of keyword density percentage it has. You can use this to analyze other sites in your niche to see how they are strategizing their keywords into their pages.

Another helpful button on the toolbar is the ability to access whois records with an easy click of the mouse. This may be useful for domainers or those looking for contact information, IP, location, or date the website was registered/will expire.

Obviously, I’m no SEO and nor do I plan to be. However, I do know that much of the information that the SEO-Quake toolbar provides comes in much handy for any SEO. What is especially impressive is it’s ability to show these stats underneath Google and other search engine results. This can help you quickly examine what sites are ranking for what keywords and how you can expect to get over those hurdles (backlinks, pr, domain age, etc).

SEO-Quake is available for both Internet Explorer and Mozilla Firefox (you can find the addon .XMI listed here). Deeboo prefers Firefox over Internet Explorer, and so should you.
