Many times we do feel the need to edit PDF files as per our requirements but end up grumbling the PDF creators for creating such a document which cannot be edited. There are many offline and online tools that claim to help you edit your PDF files but most of the time they offer some limited features and ‘request’ you to pay some hefty bucks so as to use the advanced features.
At times when you want to make some tiny changes to your PDF files like removing your phone number (or removing someone elses’s copyrights printed on every page… not that we’d ever condone that!) then you can use the features offered by PDF Escape. You can even anotate a page with sticky notes so that the pages become extra explanatory. The sticky notes can be in form of different shapes, text boxes and arrows too. Now you know how to add your tips to someone elses’s PDF files and include a link to your site!
Another awesome feature is the usual password protection. Using this you can password protect the documents that you create so that you can prevent unauthorized use of that document (at least until the time the password is leaked out on the Internet). You can even add hyperlinks to different webpages from within the PDF document. One unique feature is hiding parts of text by using the ‘white out’ tool of PDF Escape. Confused? Well, white out tool of PDF Escape is just like the manual whitener that you use when you want to hide some text in your paper documents. This tool will cover the text with an rectangle which has color similar to that of background so that the text remains invisible. This tool won’t make any changes to the meta data of the PDF file thus the place where the text was written will appear to be white background. This might lead to some blank spaces in your documents so better think and then use this tool and please do not over do it.
Now don’t just start making already created PDF files yours by adding tips and sticky notes. Rather, create your own PDF files and let the world know how ’super intelligent’ you are.
